Dr Benjamin Domb performed my total hip replacement surgery (anterior method with MAKOplasty) on Feb. 4, 2013. I had been diagnosed six years earlier at age 58, and I was determined to research the best doctor for my procedure.
It was June of 2015 and my youngest son was getting married in September. I was faced with a deteriorating and painful hip condition and needed crutches to walk.
While serving U.S. Interests overseas as a High Threat Protection Specialist in 2013, I injured my hip and right hamstring. The injury was quite debilitating and I eventually returned home and required surgery through a different doctor and practice. After months of recovery and therapy, I was cleared by Doctors to return to work. I once again rotated overseas in a work capacity despite my voiced suspicions that the injury was still an issue.
Thank you for all the help !!
Dr. Domb is an amazing surgeon that takes good care of his patients. He really takes the time to listen to his patients and addresses all concerns and options before any surgical interventions.
It's not just finding a surgeon
It blew my mind that I could walk so soon
Dr. Domb and his team are great to work with. After 6 surgeries elsewhere, I finally had my right hip surgery performed by Dr. Domb.
Hi Dr. Domb, I want to let you know I am so happy with my hip replacement. At the time I could not walk without the help of a cane. Today I am back to walking 4 to 7 miles a day and doing Zumba and Mixfit.
Over five years ago I was having terrible pain in my right hip. I was referred to Dr. Domb by Dr. Lorenz. Dr. Domb made a clinical diagnosis of a torn labrum in my right hip which was confirmed by an MRI and arthrogram.
