Julia Jekli, DNP, APRN
Julia Jekli is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedic care. She graduated with honors from Illinois State University's Mennonite College of Nursing in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Julia began her career at Rush University Medical Center's inpatient orthopedic unit, where she spent six years caring for patients recovering from hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, revision surgeries, peri-acetabular osteotomies, spinal procedures, and bone and soft tissue tumor surgeries.

During her time at Rush, Julia served four years on the Orthopedic Leadership Unit Advisory Committee, where she helped develop evidence-based protocols to enhance patient outcomes and ensure the highest quality of care.
In 2020, Julia earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rush University's Adult Gerontology Primary Care Program, which was ranked #1 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. She is a member of the National Orthopedic Nurses Association and holds a First Assist Certificate from the National Institute of First Assisting.
